Potential Suffocation Hazard:
The Gravid Weighted Blanket should always be used with care. To minimize hazards and safety risks, always ensure that the user can easily remove the blanket on their own, without any assistance. For children, individuals with disabilities, and elderly, the guardian or caregiver will need to use discretion as to whether-or-not the Gravid Weighted Blanket can be used without risk. The Gravid Weighted Blanket should never be used as a form of punishment or restraint.
Potential Choking Hazard:
The glass beads used to weight the Gravid Weighted Blanket may be a choking hazard for adults, children or pets. To protect against this, prior to each use, please ensure that the blanket is not damaged, as the likelihood of glass beads being accessible is greater. We also recommend checking for damages before and after washing your blanket (either by hand or in a machine.)
The Gravid Weighted Blanket is not intended for use by:
- Children under the age of 10 years old.
- Any individual that weighs less than 100 pounds.
- Pets of any kind.
- Anyone with a physical ailment, disability or limitation that would prevent them from easily removing the blanket on their own.
