I love this blanket! I used to sweat so much because I wanted lots of blankets for the weight of it, but this solves that issue. I feel cozy and comfortable under it. It took a few nights to get used to the weight when getting out of bed, because I was used to throwing the covers off and this has weight to it. I love the way the cover zips in and barely notice the texture of the zipper around the edge. I would recommend this blanket.

I'm still adjusting to the weight. Sometimes it feels like the weighted blanket makes me one with the mattress and I'm enveloped in a good way. However, when I'm turning and flipping and can't get settled it's hard to turn over because of the weight of the blanket. I'm not experiencing the cooling affect. Sometimes I throw off the weighted blanket to stop getting overheating. Ahhh. Maybe I'll get used to this and it will help. It didn't last night. I was awake until 4:30a.m.

I found that the blanket took a couple of nights to get used to, but now I love it. The only problem is that the queen is too small for two people. I now use another blanket on top of this blanket so that I don't wake up without covers in the middle of the night!

I purchased a Gravid weighted blanket a couple of years ago and have been pleased with the blanket itself, but the quality of the covers has been very disappointing. Over time, I’ve bought four covers: three had zippers that broke, and the most recent one didn’t even fit my blanket due to a change in dimensions.
When I reached out to customer support, they offered me 30% off a new weighted blanket, which would still cost $190—after I’d already spent $150 on the cover alone. It’s frustrating that a company would make changes like this, especially during challenging economic times. I expected better quality and customer support from Gravid.

The zipper that goes all the way around the edge is very uncomfortable. If you like to pull the blanket under your chin for sleeping, you will find this bothersome. Also queen size barely fits the bed and if 2 people sleeping under it, does not cover both people well.
It was not comfortable to sleep with. Both my husband and I disliked this and returned it.

It took longer to receive the blanket than expected. The assembly instructions as complicated- some matching tags on the inside of the blanket would help. I do wish you sold a throw instead of a large twin. I like the blue colour.

Purchased for our grandson who is having anxiety issues and experiencing insomnia. He is a "man of few words" but did say he liked it and is sleeping all night now. I notice it always makes its way to his bed when he tucks himself in at night. I purchased a second one for myself and used it for the first time last night. The blanket itself is great and the fabric is lovely. I wish the twin was a touch bigger as I don’t need a queen but the twin is quite a wee bit small. I also wish there was some fabric covering the zipper on the outside at least on the top. As a tactile person the sipper can be distracting and bothersome.

I dont know why I waited so long to buy a weighted blanket, I love how it feels and the even though it feels heavy I dont get hot which was my fear so its perfect. Bonus is that the extra weight keeps my wife from stealing the blankets during the night.

I love the Gravid blankets! I was using the twin size weight blanket for years, and finally just upgraded to the queen size with the cooling cover. The queen size was perfect for me (as a taller person) so I can wrap it around me like a sleeping bag :)
The cooling cover is great, it is lighter than the plush one I had before, which made me pretty sweaty when it was warm in my condo. I really can’t sleep without my weight blanket - would high recommend! The only feedback I have is, while the zipper technology is very clever and keeps the weight evenly spread out, I just wish they would have put the seam edge at the top near my face, instead of at the side. The zippers rub against my face making it a bit less pleasant to sleep. That’s the one thing I would improve upon!

Bought this for my eldest child, the quality is very good, it shipped promptly, and meets my expectations. I am happy with the purchase and will likely buy again for other family members. I am curious to see how washable it actually is but that is for later.
The child in question says they like it, but it is too slippery to be on top of other blankets. They also want another as it is not heavy enough... they were sleeping under 17 assorted comforters and afgans so I do not believe this is a reflection on the product, just thier preference for mattress thickness of blankets.
All in all very pleased, would buy again.

First night was an adjustment (loved it) but now wishing I went with a heavier weight. Weight distribution is even, no bulking or movement at all with the Queen. So far so good!

I wish I could have afforded a full size one. I bought the twin to see if the blanket was as advertised and reviewed. My goodness...it works! I still wake up but I go back to sleep and the depth of sleep must be good because I wake up feeling rested! Happy. Jump out of bed instead of forcing myself to wake up. I can't fully explain the difference but there is a difference. I'm going to lend it out to some others close to me and see what they say. Thanks for producing such a well made, Canadian product!

Too heavy! If I were to order again I would not get the king size for my king bed. You need to order something smaller then bed as once the blanket begins to slide off bed it just keeps going. Leaving you tugging at all night and likely injuring yourself like I did.

Love the weighted blanket. The cover is slippery against the sheets we ordered but put it in our own duvet cover and its GREAT!!! We love the way it feels at night. Not too heavy and not hot! We ordered the queen size. It could be a little larger as it just fits the bed (doesn't hang over the edges too much) but does fully fit the bed and is a perfect weight! Would highly recommend!!!
